Shift Events

We like to have fun. Our students have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of events designed to entertain, engage and inspire. You can find the details for our upcoming events here.  If advanced registration is available, you may register online by clicking the “Sign Up” button for that event.  You will need to have an active Weblink Account.  If you don’t have one, don’t worry, it’s quick and easy to create one.  Just follow the instructions when you click the button.

Any event that takes place away from Impact’s campus requires a Release Form to be completed and signed by a parent.  You can download each event’s Release Form in PDF form below.  You may then either complete it and turn it in to Impact’s Main Office or email it to us.

Our events are ministry specific unless they are designated as an ALL event.  These events are open to both Junior High and High School students.

Open Mic Night – February 17, 2012

This is your chance to showcase your talent.  We are giving you the opportunity to share your heart through the arts, whether your a musician, writer, artist or actor.  We will open sign ups a few weeks before the event.  Each person will get 5 minutes maximum to share.  Drinks will be included in the cost.

Invisible Children screening of “Kony” – March 11, 2012

Students have the ability to be world changers.  Whether it’s in their immediate community or across the globe, they can make a difference.  Join us for a special presentation by the team at Invisible Children as they share about the continuing tragedies of Africa’s longest running war.  IC’s goal this year is to bring an end to the reign of Joseph Kony, the ruthless leader of the LRA rebels responsible for countless atrocities.  This event is not just for ISM High School students, but for anyone High School and above who wants to know how they can make a difference in the lives of those living across the globe.

Foto Frenzy – April 6, 2012

Join us, the last day of Spring Break for an unforgettable night of craziness!  We’re bringing the Foto Frenzy scavenger hunt back for another year of mayhem.  Teams will travel with an adult leader throughout Sacramento racking up as many points as they can by capturing their team on camera!  Prizes will be awarded to the top teams!

Time:  7:00 to 9:00pm.  We will meet at The Garage and travel with our teams from there.

The Amazing Race – April 28, 2012

It’s BACK!  The Amazing Race: Impact Edition.  Grab your friends and parents and get your team ready for this incredible day.  This city wide race takes you throughout the greater Sacramento Metro area in search of clues, battling Road Blocks and Detours as you race to be the first team back.  Cost is per team of four.  Each team must include at least one adult and one student.  Prizes will be awarded for the top teams!

Senior BBQ – May 19, 2012

Class of 2012, it’s time to celebrate YOU!  Join our Shift Staff and your parents as we celebrate your amazing accomplishments!

Who:  Shift (Graduating Seniors and their parents only)
Cost:  FREE
Time:  12:00pm to 3:00pm.  Location: TBD.

Ponderosa @ Hume Lake Christian Camp – July 8-14, 2012

Registrations are underway for Ponderosa 2012!  Hume Lake is THE premier camp on the west coast.  With tons of activities, exhilarating recreation, inspiring worship and Biblical teaching, a week at Hume Lake will create more than memories, it will change your life!  Space is limited so register now!  Ponderosa is open to all students in 8th through 12th grades.
